Claire Oliver Gallery is pleased to share our debut in a series of limited edition apparel. After recently visiting Detroit, we have been obsessed with the ubiquitous “DETROIT -VS- EVERYBODY” T-shirts, worn with pride by Motor City fans. We were inspired, and have created a T-shirt that celebrates the incredible Harlem community that we are so lucky to call home and imbued with the same pride. Harlem has been such an important home for myself personally and also for the gallery, we have always felt welcomed and accepted with love, kindness and generosity. So we’re thrilled to present the HARLEM -IS- EVERYBODY T. In our continuing gallery mission is to showcase the work of our incredible artists in a space that is welcoming and inviting to all our Harlem neighbors, from school children, senior groups and everything in between, alongside our wonderful community of museum curators, collectors and visitors from NYC and the world. But it starts with our neighbors who we rub shoulders with every day and who keep us going in this community. We hope that our gallery can be a beacon of art, self-expression and creativity to everyone who walks through our doors. We believe that art is a catalyst for all towards empathy, listening and shared humanity, and nothing embodies this more than our very own neighborhood. We love you Harlem!
